+ When can I expect my order to ship?

Generally between 1-5 business days. Please keep in mind most Points Jewelry pieces are made to order, by hand. Although most orders ship quickly this is subject to change. You will be notified if your order is expected to take longer than normal processing time.

+ What is gold filled? Will it tarnish?

Gold filled is a layer of real gold, pressure bonded to another metal - usually brass. Gold "filled" is not to be confused with gold "plated" as filled has 100% more gold than plated. It is much more valuable and tarnish resistant; it does not flake or rub off. It is possible, depending on jewelry storage and/or general care that gold filled jewelry will darken in color over time, however if taken care of properly it can retain its shine for years to come! + Will sterling silver tarnish?

Over time, sterling silver can tarnish or corrode. It is important to properly care for sterling silver jewelry to keep it looking as beautiful as the first day you received it. Proper care includes being conscious of how you store, wear, and clean your jewelry. See care instructions below. 

+ What is your repair/return policy?

I am happy to repair your piece at any time. Standard shipping rates may apply. Depending on the repair, a small fee may be required and may take up to 2 weeks to process. If your piece is in need of any of the following repairs within the first 3 months of purchase/delivery let me know and I will fix it for free: length or size, broken chain, or quality issue.

If you’ve misplaced an earring, I will need to receive its remaining half to make as close a match as possible. This is because each piece is completely hand formed making it possible for small variances in each finished product. I want to make sure you receive a replacement that you are happy with. You will be responsible for shipping costs and half of the total price of the pair.

I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, if for any reason you aren’t happy with your jewelry I am happy to accept returns for any unworn pieces within 7 days of purchase or delivery.

+ How do I request a return/repair/exchange?

To request a return, repair, or exchange please fill out and submit the appropriate form here, and we will follow up with further instructions.

All returns, repairs, and exchanges will be processed through USPS, local meet up is not offered at this time.

+ Sustainability Note

I strive to apply sustainable practices to all facets of my business. Points Jewelry is a small batch jewelry brand meaning, I hand-make most of my pieces to order rather than having excessive stock - because of this approach I rarely waste any materials. I have also tailored our packaging and shipping materials to be 100% sustainable. This means every component used to package and ship Points Jewelry is either recycled, recyclable, compostable, or reusable. Jewelry Care Instructions

+ Sterling Silver & Gold Filled Care Instructions

  • Avoid rough wear to slow down the natural aging process - take your jewelry off before exercising, sleeping, or tanning. 

  • Prolonged exposure to moisture can cause your jewelry to tarnish or become dull. I always recommend removing jewelry before swimming  or showering and always storing it in a dry place. 

  • Store your jewelry in an air-tight container or jewelry box.

  • Perfume, hairspray, lotion, and essential oils may contain chemicals or ingredients that can tarnish your jewelry over time. Gently wipe your jewelry clean with a polishing cloth after each wear.

Please keep in mind that Points Jewelry, although durable and made with high quality materials, is delicate jewelry. While it is built to last, it may not withstand rough handling or improper care. Practicing the simple care tips above can help to preserve your pieces for years to come!

Customizations

While I don’t offer “Custom” orders, here are a list of customizations I can usually make to my original designs:

Length Customizations - I can make the length/size of necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and some rings smaller or larger depending on your needs.

Size Customizations - In some cases, I’ll also consider making “mini” or “large” versions of earrings/pendants I offer, if the design allows. (i.e. Hammered Hoops in a larger diameter or the Brie & Honey Necklace with a smaller pendant)

Material Customizations - If a piece is only listed in gold filled, it can usually be made in sterling silver upon request.

Note: I will not consider customizations to any designs that are not my own. I will not consider custom work that is not in line with my own creative vision. Each customization request is considered on a case by case basis, my ability to grant these requests is subject to change. Thanks for understanding!
