Refining the Details

Refining the Details

Rebranding: A New Chapter for Points

There’s something meaningful about returning to something you’ve built and asking, what still feels true, and what’s ready to evolve?

This rebrand has been a long time coming.

After many years of hoping I'd get around to it, I finally had the resources, and maybe more importantly, the bandwidth to do it with the care it deserved. Points has grown with me over the years, and I reached a point where the brand no longer fully reflected where I am now, both creatively and personally.

So I decided to begin again. Not completely from scratch but building on and refining what was already there.

The Process

I had the opportunity to work with Manca from Onyx Design on this refresh, and it felt like such a natural collaboration from the start. I came in with a lot of feeling - ideas, references, fragments of what I wanted the brand to embody - but she helped shape that into something cohesive and intentional.

We focused less on reinventing and more on refining.

Pulling forward what already felt true:

  • Subtle details
  • Intentional design
  • Leaning into branding that evokes a feeling

And building around that.

There was a lot of back and forth, a lot of trusting the process, and a lot of letting go of things that no longer felt aligned.

A Shift in Tone

One of the biggest changes is something you might not immediately see, but you’ll feel it.

The brand now leans more into warmth and restraint, tones inspired by natural materials, soft light, and everyday simplicity.

It feels more grounded in itself. Less about trying to be anything, more about clearly expressing what it already is.

Visual Direction

The moodboard set the tone early on: organic textures, soft contrast, and a palette that feels warm without being overpowering.

The colors reflect that same balance: earthy greens, soft neutrals, and warm tones that invoke a sense of calm.

The typography is clean and considered. It carries the brand without competing with it.

The logo evolved in a subtle way. More refined, intriguing, but still very much Points.

Why Now

For a long time, I was operating in a space of just keeping things moving, creating, fulfilling orders, showing up where I could.

This rebrand feels like a shift out of that.

Into something more intentional. More considered. More aligned with how I actually want Points to exist and grow.

It’s not just about how things look, it’s about how they feel to create, to share, to wear.

What Stays the Same

At its core, nothing has changed.

Everything is still small-batch, handmade, and designed to be worn effortlessly. Still rooted in simplicity, with an emphasis on quality and thoughtful design.

If anything, this rebrand just brings that into clearer focus.

Moving Forward

This feels like the beginning of a new chapter, a deeper commitment to what Points has always been.

More clarity.
More intention.
More room to grow.

And honestly, more excitement to share again.
